(214) Second semester. Two credits. Prerequisite: ECE 3608 and ECE 3609; or ECE 3201. One 1-hour lecture and one 2-hour laboratory. This course and ECE 3610W may not both be taken for credit. Transformers and electrical motors. Switching electronic devices and power supplies. Motor control circuits. Computer analysis tools. Design projects are implemented and tested in the laboratory. Laboratory reports with revisions are required for each project.
