(246) First semester. Three credits. Prerequisite: To enroll in this course, a student must have earned a "B-" or better in CYTO 4145. Open only to Cytotechnologymajors. Provides the student with comprehensive knowledge of alimentary tract cytology and provides the skills necessary to identify accurately the cytologic changes associated with normal and abnormal cellular changes in the alimentary tract.
