A knowledge of Greek or Latin is not required. Selected plays from the works of Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes, Plautus, Terence, and Seneca. The origin and development of Greek drama, its transformation in the Roman period, and the influence of classical drama on later literature.
