(291) Either semester. One credit. Open only to students admitted to the School of Business. Prerequisite: Open to juniors or higher. Students taking this course will be assigned a final grade of S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory). Registering for this course enters the student into the Mobile Computing Program for the School of Business. The student will be provided with a leased notebook computer that is configured for use with the network in the School. To receive credit for the course, the student must attend an orientation session at the beginning of the semester and pass a laboratory practical examination covering prescribed software tasks. Lectures and help sessions will be provided during the semester to prepare students for the examination.
