Covers the structure and physiological function of the human nervous system with emphasis on the clinical aspects of motor and somatosensory systems. The anatomy of the brain, brain stem, and spinal cord are studied in specimens and on slides and integrated with the basic physiology of motor and sensory systems. The application of neuroscience to clinical neurological cases is a foundation of this course.
