Examines typical skill development and maturation from intrauterine life through old age (senescence). The interaction of system development on acquisition of and changes in skill development are considered. Students apply developmental concepts to case studies and hypothetical clinical situations. Emphasizes childhood and early adult development as a foundation to the changes that occur later in adulthood and senescence.
