Helps students to synthesize nursing knowledge, skills, and experience and facilitate their transition to professional nursing practice and case management of clients with complex health problems. Enables students to demonstrate leadership and collaborative skills in working with other members of the health-care team through a weekly eight-hour precepted relationship with an RN. Examines patient-care experiences in weekly seminars. Includes clinical learning experiences in a variety of settings.
