Helps the operations manager to perform this function in both the manufacturing and service sectors of the economy. Explores operations management concepts, techniques, and models. These include the optimum allocation and efficient utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and technology at strategic and tactical levels in the organization. Topics include process analysis, capacity planning, materials management, resource allocation, quality management, and scheduling.
