Joesten Interpretation of mineralogical, chemical and textural features of metamorphic rocks in terms of the physical conditions and dynamic processes operating in the Earth's crust. Thermodynamic description of phase equilibria in fluid-rock systems. Kinetics, massand energy-transport in metamorphic processes. Petrographic, and X-ray analytical techniques.
