(234) Second semester. Three credits. Focuses on the evolution, particularly within the last five years, of the law relating to Fourth Amendment issues. A basic understanding of the fundamental concepts of reasonable expectation of privacy, reasonable suspicion, probable cause and law enforcement actions should be mastered by students prior to taking this course. Focuses on current trends and developments including advances in technology and issues relating to the response to terrorism.
