Ways in which literature, film, and visual art portray this specifically Russian mode of celebration, bonding, and interpersonal enjoyment. Development of advanced Russian language proficiency with a focus on describing in detail, supporting opinions, stating hypotheses, and using extended discourse. Eight classes conducted around a traditional Russian table offering authentic cuisine. Prerequisite: russ 160a or equivalent.
