SPRING This course involves learning methods and techniques of teaching mathematics for levels K-6. Emphasis is on application of learning theory to teaching mathematics. Students receive instruction in teaching strategies, models, and materials. They produce lessons and materials and use them during an extensive field experience in approved site. This course is based on the NCTM and Minnesota Graduation Standards. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education Department.
