Topics include chemistry of biological macromol-ecules, dna and rna structure and function, chromosome and genome organization, transcriptional and translational regulation, protein structure and function, genomics, and bioinformatics. Designed to provide an accelerated venue for MCDB majors entering the department's core curriculum. Prerequisite: score of5 on the Advanced Placement test in Biology.
