Informationsystems concepts, theories, technologies, and models; as well as an in-depth review of information-system creation and adaptation. General systems concepts in health care: analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. Strategies for the successful management of information systems in an integrated or interfaced environment, with emphasis on health information applications. Future trends in information-system elements presented in conjunction with analysis of these trends in the health-record profession. Major term project includes the development of database specifications, inputs, outputs, implementation schedules, and maintenance plans.
