This course will examine the portrayal of crime and justice in feature length films and how these films influence how our society views issues related to crime. The primary focus will be on the American criminal justice system (law enforcement, courts, and corrections) and the broader topic of justice. Prerequisite(s): (SOC 101 or 204) or CJS 101 or permission of instructor.
