This course will look at "all" work by Andy Warhol - from his days as a designer and illustratoto his time as an artist (in the traditional sense). We will move beyond the "Warhol" that hasbeen scripted and staged by art history (which only ever focuses on his "fine art"), and we willexplore his designs, "underground films", and his writings. We will also surface the "queeWarhol" that art history has erased from the beginning of his debute on the art-historical stage up to the latest retrospective in 2002.
