A continuation of MUS 215 Jazz Improvisation. Study and discussion of the various approaches to jazz improvisation. Focus will be on chord/scale relationships, advanced harmonic substitutions, stylistic considerations, solo analysis, and relationships between harmony, melody, and structure.
