Bioinformatics Applications. 4 hrs. Analysis of vast amounts of data generated due to the recent advances in genomic technologies such as, high-throughput sequencing, functional genomics and proteomics, is essential for the understanding of biological function and variation. This course emphasizes mastering of various tools used for analyzing DNA, RNA and protein data, understanding of underlying algorithms, and their application to biological problems.
