In this second-year course, students continue their investigations into natural history and geology, focusing on how A better understanding of ecology leads to appropriate land use planning. Conservation biology, environmental geology, and appropriate technology are examined as tools for land use and policy revision. Advocacy skills are honed as students work to enact change at the community, industry, and government levels.
