3 hours. (3;3) Students produce a professional portfolio in slide and CD format. A variety of assignments are executed, including a photo essay. Ethics and professional practices in the field are covered. Students may work in conjunction with various publications. Arranged lab hours fluctuate to fit times of events of photographic assignments. Prerequisite(s): JOUR 3700; journalism major or minor status or consent of department.
