Professional Writing Portfolio Seminar The capstone course for the Writing Minor, WRI 4990 is designed to serve students with a range of experiences in a variety of academic disciplines. Students will develop an understanding of the discourse within which their academic or professional writing is being interpreted and evaluated, and will synthesize a collection of writing into a coherent, compelling portfolio that they may successfully carry forward to their professional or graduate school careers. Pre: For Writing Minor: Professional Writing Practicum WRI 3950 and three 3000-level writing courses completed with a combined GPA of 3.0 or better. For all majors: consent of instructor.
