5 hours; 5 credits Topics to be discussed include elements of plane analytic geometry; vectors in the plane and their properties; limits, derivatives, and integrals of functions of one variable; polynomial, rational, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions; theory of maxima and minima; and techniques of integration. (A student may receive credit for only one of the following six courses: MTH 2011, 2201, 2205, 2206, 2207, 2610, or 2630.) Prerequisites: MTH 2000 or 2001 and departmental permission.
