A study of representative oral and written passages from various French authors of the 19th century (FR 401) and the 20th century (FR 402). Analysis of readings and listening programs in discussions and compositions. The course also covers the arts and history of that period. Prerequisite: FR 204 or equivalent. Fall 2005-Spring 2006.
