Examination of selected non-traditional Black American religious and secular movements, their founders and leaders with close consideration of the contrasts between these groups and more traditional movements. Examples include suchcult leaders as "Daddy Grace," "Father Divine," and "The Reverend Ike" as compared with other religious and social leaders such as Martin Luther King and Jesse Jackson.
