This course does not satisfy the writing requirement. A course designed to allow the students to discover their own talents in several forms of fiction and poetry. Though emphasis is on practice, classroom work includes discussion of theory as well as readings in British and American works. Frequent writing assignments. Reading lists vary with each section.
