Fantuzzo. An introduction to the rudiments of designing effective school-based strategies for preschool and elementary school children. Students are introduced to a child-centered approach to the development of school-based intervention that includes three core elements: (a) a theory of the whole child, (b) methods of obtaining high quality information, and (c) the utilization of quality information to establish and strengthen beneficial connections that promote learning and development.
