Plant Systematics is a study of diversity in the flowering plants emphasizing evolutionary relationships. _Learn how DNA sequence data have revolutionized the interpretation of plant evolution by providing direct evidence of phylogenetic relationships._ Each class will combine lecture and lab sessions where plant samples will be examined._ The course includes a field trip to Bartram s Garden.
