Two lectures and more than three hours of activity. Prerequisites: Television, Film and New Media 260, 261, and 510 with grade of B (3.0) or better in each and consent of instructor. Proof of completion of prerequisites required: Copy of transcript. Practicum in direction and production of dramatic and nondramatic film. Cameras, lighting, design, sound techniques, experience in university sponsored productions. Completion of a short film.
