Prerequisites: Course in intermediate algebra, satisfaction of the Entry-Level Mathematics requirement, and qualification on the Mathematics Departmental Placement Exam, Part 1A. Introduction to descriptive statistics, statistical inference, regression and correlation. Students with credit or concurrent registration in the following lower division statistics courses will be awarded a total of four units for the two (or more) courses: Economics 201; Administration, Rehabilitation and Postsecondary Education 201; Biology 215; Civil Engineering 160; Political Science 201; Psychology 270; Sociology 201; Statistics 119 or 250.
