Prerequisites: Completion of the General Education requirement in Foundations II.A.2. Life Sciences. If a biological sciences course is not taken to satisfy General Education II.A.2. Life Sciences, a college course in biological sciences is required. Medicinal plants, toxic-poisonous plants, herbal medicines, psychoactive plants, preparation of medicines and mechanisms of action; current research results on medicinal plants and drugs used in diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. Not applicable to biological sciences majors.
