Continuation of the study of performance; increasing the student's awareness of and mastering of space, shape, tempo, architecture, topography, emotion, theme, and narrative. Exercises and practice in script analysis applied to various texts. Study of the commonly held central elements of realistic acting: objective, obstacle, motivation, and action playing. Further study of the relationship between sound, language, and movement. Students generate and perform original material as well as prepare and perform scenes of different genres.
