Integrative study of how dynamic tectonic processes create and shape the internal structure and surface of the Earth. Movement of tectonic plates and how interactions along plate boundaries create faults, folds, and fractures. Earth's gravity and magnetic fields, the mechanics of rock deformation and how remote sensing techniques are used to explore the Earth's internal structure.
