Continuation of BIOS 208. Introduction to higher levels of biological organization from the organism to the ecosystem. Topics include organismal physiology, mechanisms of micro- and macro-evolution, animal behavior, and the dynamics and organization of populations, communities, and ecosystems. Three hours of lecture per week. Course designed specifically for biological sciences majors, but open to others. Not available for credit to students with credit in BIOS 209.
