An introduction to the guitar for the student who has no guitar proficiency. The student will have a "hands-on" introduction to the guitar in its various forms (acoustic, electric, and bass). Attention will be given to how guitars function in a rhythm section, as well as communication techniques between guitarists and rehearsal leaders. Prerequisite: WM 273 Keyboard Skills II or consent of instructor. (1)
