3 Credits 3 Class Hours Prerequisite: VID 331 Study of the cinematic elements and techniques of the 30 - 60 second commercial spot advertisement, from concept development through post-production. Classic and contemporary TV commercials are analyzed from historical, production, and promotion perspectives. Student-directed exercises refine their knowledge, skills, and dispositions regarding producing, directing, editing, and cinematography for the short form.
