3 Credits 3 Class Hours 1 Lab Hour Prerequisite: AUD 101 Study and demonstration of techniques in recording, mixing, and production. Practical application of studio procedures in actual recording situations. Development of skills on recording consoles, tape machines (8-track and 2-track) and special outboard recording equipment, including reverb systems, digital delay, compression and harmonizers. An overview of the recording studio and the medium itself as a creative art form.
