Private guitar lessons provide continuing instruction in classical, popular, or jazz guitar including performance, technique, and literature. Guitar students majoring or minoring in music participate in at least one studio recital and a jury each semester. Beginning students enroll in MUS 1030; advanced students enroll in MUS 1025 or higher. Music Majors and Music Ministry Majors whose emphasis is in guitar must take at least two semesters of classical guitar. This course may be repeated for credit, with additional lesson fees required.
