The course covers structure and functions of the living cell and the subcellular particles. Chemistry of metabolism and biological function of proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, enzymes and coenzymes are discussed in detail. Three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisite: CHE 226. Offered every Fall. CREDIT: THREE SEMESTER HOURS.
