Syntax and basic characteristic of grammars, data types, and structures, control structures and data flow, run-time consideration, interpretative languages, lexical analysis, and parsing. Offered every fall. Prerequisite: CSC 341 Data Structures. CREDIT: THREE SEMESTER HOURS.
