This course is an introduction to the basic problems of design involving structure and volume in space. It will involve the drawing of "blueprints" (projection drawing) by hand on the drafting table and then translating these scale drawings into scale models using foam core, cardboard, balsa wood, and other easily handled model-making materials traditionally used for the study of spatial and structure problems. Required for Art majors. CREDIT THREE SEMESTER HOURS.
