Credits: 3 Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None Type: LEC Examines class interests, agency, social movements, culture and other important issues embedded in historical and contemporary perspectives on the processes of social change. We consider such topics and their place in understanding how society changes. Our focus is on change in the United States; however, we also look at case examples from other parts of the world and discuss how globalization impacts on our understanding of the processes of social change.
