Credits: 3 Prerequisites: permission of instructor Corequisites: PSY 498 Type: SEM PSY 455 and PSY 456 offer students the opportunity to 1) learn about current assessment and treatment methodologies for school-age children with disruptive behavior problems and ) apply this knowledge in hands-on interactions with children within actual school settings. Topics covered include an overview of disruptive behavior disorders found in school-age children, functional behavioral assessment tools used with children, and empirically supported treatments for children with disruptive behavior problems.
