Art from the past and present is viewed, discussed, and utilized as a starting point for student-driven assignments. The nature of each assignment is based on the formal (visual) qualities of an idea paired with a conceptual (thematic) core. All student work is based upon and inspired by the ideas, theories, opinions, and reactions on art from a widely dispersed range of periods and regions.
