(Same as OB 673.) Topics relevant to organizational behavior, drawing on social psychological and sociological research. How theories and methods change as levels of analysis change, focusing on the organizational meso (intermediate between micro and macro) level. Topics vary annually, but may include: organizational learning or routines; power; emotions in organizations; diversity and demography; organizational identity and legitimacy; culture; contagion and diffusion. Focus is on theory development processes, and writing journal articles. Prerequisite: enrollment in a Ph.D. program. 4 units, Win (Staff)
