Topics include effects of boundary conditions on spontaneous emission, development of strong coupling in experimental systems, fundamental theoretical models, linear and nonlinear phenomenology in the strong coupling regime, optical bistability, input-output theory, photon statistics and single-photon sources, and modern developments in circuit QED.
