Explores various historic, social and economic forces which have contributed to emergence and assignment of racial and ethnic identities of Americans. Major populations and identities such as African-Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Asian-Americans and Anglo-Americans will be covered. Prerequisite: SOC101.
