(3 cr.) This course focuses on core theoretical concepts of professional nursing practice including health, wellness, illness, self-care, caring, disease prevention and health promotion. Students will be expected to explore theoretical premises and research related to the unique wellness perspectives and health beliefs of people across the lifespan in developing care outcomes consistent with maximizing individual potentials for wellness. Course incorporates content from NURS-B 233: Health and Wellness. This course is restricted to R.N. to B.S.N. students only.
