(3 cr.) P: BUS-K 201 or equivalent. An introductory management science course with a forecasting component of approximately 25 percent of the course. Topics to be covered include multiple regression, smoothing techniques, linear programming, integer programming, statistical decision theory, simulation and network analysis; coverage may also include inventory theory, Markov process, and goal programming. Heavy emphasis on the application of these topics to business decision making using computers.
