3 HOURS This course provides an essential foundation for teaching piano. The class focuses on teaching techniques and evaluations of recent piano method books, piano repertoire, piano technique, and practice, memorization, and performance skills. An integral part of the class is observation of instruction and student teaching of private and/or group lessons under faculty supervision. (Spring, even years)
