3 HOURS EACH This sequential course provides an essential foundation for teaching piano. The class focuses on teaching techniques and evaluations of recent methods and materials for both private and group piano instruction as well as the business and professional issues facing the independent piano teacher.. An integral part of the class is observation of instruction and student teaching of private and/or group lessons under faculty supervision. (356-Fall, odd years; 357 Spring even years)
